Every horse is different, and each has its own path. Our goal may be injury rehabilitation, addressing specific issues, or simply maintaining your horse’s comfort, movement, and performance. We generally recommend one session per week for regular maintenance, one to two sessions per week for show preparation, and two to three sessions per week for more intensive support, including injury recovery or acute discomfort.

PEMF and Cold Laser Therapy are safe, non-invasive therapies that can be used on most horses. However, there are certain situations where one or both modalities should be avoided or used with caution.
PEMF and Cold Laser are not recommended for horses who are:
Pregnant (treatment over the abdomen or reproductive area is avoided)
Experiencing active bleeding, such as nosebleeds
Being treated for known or suspected tumors (direct areas would be avoided)
Currently fighting an infection or running a fever
Wearing metal or electronic implants (direct treatment may be avoided; microchips are generally safe)
Sensitive to light or taking photosensitizing medications (Cold Laser only)
Still growing, with open growth plates (Cold Laser only)
Every horse is treated as an individual. We review medical history and current conditions prior to each session and will adjust or postpone treatment as needed. When appropriate, we are happy to work alongside your veterinarian to ensure all therapies are safe and beneficial for your horse!
